The Philly cheesesteak may be pricey at $11.50 but it's large and has grilled onions and veggies. It's better than the cheesesteak at Shortys given the steak actually has juice and they have very fast service.
This place is no frills, basic food that's good. There isn't anywhere to sit, it's geared for a to go crowd, and they do move quick. It can get crowded, but since they're not fooling around, there's not much of a wait. This is on my map of "places that are open early and good for breakfast and don't take a lot of time." Which is good since I go here when I'm at work in Lower Manhattan.
